BLOGGING: Should You Separate You From Your Business?

This is a question that I have had turning in my mind
ever since I have been learning the CORRECT way to market.

When I first came into this business, I was one who knew
nothing about it. I followed the “business” teaching of
marketing. You know; the one where you promote the business
the way they teach you how to.

On my journey of knowing that this was the road I truly
wanted to follow for financial freedom, I have met many
people and many groups of people that were willing to
teach the CORRECT way of marketing for free. Not all of
these groups were what they claimed to be but they were
teaching the correct concept;(Another Post For Another Time),
That Being that you should promote yourself.

I started learning about blogging and how important it is
to marketing, and how getting traffic to your blog is just
as important. There are so many differnt subjects to
blog about with your business that will help others to learn
the correct way of marketing.

I understand how important this is but my business is not who
I am. So the question is: When promoting YOURSELF with blogs,
should your blog be only about your business or should it
also be be about who you are and what you are all about
separating the two within your blog?

I am lookng for YOUR input on this matter.

We all are so unique and everybody’s input is just as important
as anyone’s.

Let’s see what all of you think.

Very well written Tammie, and I agree 100% with what you have posted here. I am also learning as I go when it comes to blogging. Thanks for the great information.

  2. Awesome article Tammie. That is a good question too. My thoughts is that you are the core of your business and some of your blog should be about you because it relates what your thoughts are and what you believe about your business. Then the Trust is built between you and your customers. Good job

  4. Great post and you will get different views on this – it really depends on the person and their style of writing, how their blog is set up. The majority of bloggers like to have a separage blogs for business and personal and feel this is the norm.
But I personally am probably the norm so my blog is both – I spent awhile coming up with my blog title – Just my opinion – and for that reason – I blog about different subjects
