Well, this post is about just what the title says it is. Getting Serious. Most of the time you think you are serious about things especially about making money. Then you find out that you haven’t been really serious for quite some time.
First thing you need to do is decide exactly what it is that you really are passionate about doing. On-line or off -line.

On-line, it could be helping others to succeed in entrepreneurship, it could be helping others to get healthy, it could be helping others create a good mindset for themsleves, it could be helping others to find the right tools they need to succeed…there are so many things that you can do on-line and be very successful at it .

Off-line things could be catering, sewing, a lawn business, baby sitting or daycare, caring for seniors, painting, avon, crafting and the list goes on and on.There are so many opportunities in having you own business it is just unreal.

If you are not passionate about it though you will not get serious about it. From my own experience I can tell you that no matter how much I needed to make extra income, until I found what I was passionate about , I could not get serious about it.

I love the fact that I can help others to achieve their dreams in all aspects of life; spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally by helping them to learn with the right tools and the right teachers.

I have found my passion off-line and it is children. I do have an in-home daycare and I love every minute of it. I have also found my on-line passion and it is helping others to overcome pain. Whether it be physical, financial, spiritual or emotional. Pain is an awful thing to have to endure. I have suffered from it in all aspects and my passion is to help others to overcome it.

I have actually been introduced and have been experiencing the benefits from an amazing product that has actually almost eliminated all of my chronic back pain, is now helping me to sleep through the whole night, is reducing my stress levels to the point of me not having to take anti-anxiety medication and anti- depressants, is giving me energy and clarity to do the things that I want to do during the day and all around makes me feel good.

Helping others to overcome these negatives with this amazing product is something to truly get serious and become passionate about.

The main purpose of this post is to let you all know that this blog will be mainly for personal content and my thoughts on life in general. I will be having a blog for Healthy physical well-being , www.TammiesEggOfLife.com , one for Financial Freedom, www.BuildingYourNicheWithEase.com , and one for Spiritual and Emotional Concepts, www.MarketingThruFaith.com .

I do hope that one or all of these will be helpful for you or for someone you know that will benefit from them. Let’s all get serious and get passionate about something and help others in that area. Get busy and get serious and let’s conquer this world together.

That is a no-brainer right? Well, to most it is anyway. Sometimes when you think you know what you are doing; you really don’t. I am thinking you are now wondering what in the world is this lady talking about. Well…. let me tell you.

I had an experience the other night in a class I am in that I actually felt like I needed to put the dunce hat on. In this class I am in we have actual e-books to follow along with. Now mind you, this is the second time I have taken this class. Not because I really do need the dunce hat but because it is so good I felt like it was well worth taking again.

In the beginning of the class there were students that were asking where to get the e-book from. Out of kindness, being this has been said in prior classes, one of the instructors was giving instructions on exactly how to get the book. Well, being that I had already taken the class before and thought I had the correct book, I was not paying attention to what was being said.

Of course when the class began and the instructor was sharing his screen with the class, I noticed my book was not the same as his. For the life of me I could not figure out where this book was. It took a minute or two, truly five or six, to finally post the question to the instructor, knowing that in the prior class, he had just really stressed to us to pay attention to what he was teaching as he did not want to waste our time or his.

Needless to say I had to apologize after the class to the instructor as it was totally my fault for not paying attention to what was being said, not because I didn’t want to learn but because I was so sure I already knew what she was conveying to the other students.

I am sharing this with you merely to encourage you to always listen to your instructors, mentors, teachers, etc. They are there to teach you and it is important enough to them that they are taking their time to teach you the knowledge that they have to help you better yourself. No matter whether you have heard it before or not, there is always something to be learned each time. This is a lesson that was well needed for me. Not only for me to learn by but that I can also share with others to make sure they do to make the same mistake.

Whether you hear the same thing over and over, or you are just hearing it for the first time, knowledge is something you should always listen to. Especially if you are getting this knowledge for free. These instructors share this knowledge with you out of concern for you and your success. They are spending time sharing with you that could be spent on making them money. It isn’t just out of respect for them but out of respect for yourself as well.

The information that I get from these wonderful instructors is free and worth every minute of my time to give them my full attention.

Are you willing to give your full attention for free, valuable information to help you with your success? I know I won’t be making the mistake of not listening ever again.

Need help finding quality information?

Let me know.

I have been feeling this all day so I guess I might as well write about it.

This morning while doing my morning posting, I came across a quote that I really like to try to live by:

“Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it”. – Groucho Marx

I am sure many of you feel the same way that I do about this quote. I realize it is my choice as to how I am going to feel and let things (events, people, words, memories, etc) make me feel each and every second of each and every day. That is why God gave us, each and everyone, free will. It is your choice whether or not you will let something or someone steal your joy.

We should all know that we are capable of doing anything we set our minds to do. In any area of our lives we have the choice as to if we will be happy in it or not. From school to work, to our relationships, to our spiritual lives, to our health, to ANY area in our lives we have that choice.

We can also choose whether or not we will strive to make our dreams come true. This also applies to every area of our lives. Do you have dreams for your life? Sure you do! Are you striving to make those dreams come true? I hope so! When you realize that it is YOUR choice as to whether or not YOU make those dreams come true, YOU can begin to make things happen.

I can promise you that you will run into disappointments and curves that will make you want to just stop and go the other way at many different times in your journey. You have to remember though it is YOUR choice what you do when that happens. Do you quit, tuck tail and run away? Or do you hold your head high, learn from your mistakes and keep on going?

It is YOUR choice. Happiness or misery.

Which will it be for YOU?

Want some help?

In my last post I shared with you a little about having great mentors and I mentioned two of the ones I have and would not have stayed in this business if I had not met them. I need to make sure you understand that I also have other great mentors as well.

Choosing a mentor needs to be something that you don’t just jump at the first ones that come along. When I first started in this business I did not really have a mentor. I did have a great upline in the business I first started with that helped me to learn to work and promote my business for that particular opportunity and believe me I am very greatful for that.

However, I did not know the correct way of starting my own business, especially an online business. Thank God I was introduced to some amazing people that truly cared about my success. There are those out there that really just want to make sure that you succeed to make them money because you are in their downline and there ARE those that truly just care about you succeeding for yourself, no matter what business you are in.

I have had both. I have been taught that you really have to be choosy about your mentors just as you have to be choosy about what you decide to focus on for your business. Making sure that your mentors are successful in what they are doing themselves is an absolute must. You need to be sure you can trust what they are teaching you as well as what their purpose for teaching you is.

Two of the greatest mentors I have are Robert and Robin Blakely. I met them through a mutual friend and was actually introduced to them for the purpose of a product or a line of products they stand behind. This particular company that I was interested in is Xooma. Both Robert and Robin have extensive experience with their products and have helped me to understand what they are for and how they will help me.

Now after meeting them for this purpose, I was totally amazed at how much they were both concerned not only about my health but also about my success in my online business. It wasn’t if I was going to join them, but the ones I was already in. I was in total shock. Most people do not work that way. I knew I had found someone I could trust.

I need to make sure you understand this just wasn’t from the first couple of times I talked to them but after a couple of months talking with them and not ordering anything from them. Robert was helping me so much with learning how to advertise and get my business going. He was teaching me his techniques and not ever asking anything except to know I was trying.

Robin was really concerned with my health as it was not the best in the world and was teaching me the things that I could do without buying anything. Can you imagine people zi did not even know at all so concerned about me, my health and my business. That is a true mentor. That is caring mentors. That is the kind of mentors you need to be looking for.

If you are interested in finding out what Robert and Robin Blakely are all about then you can check them out at [7:39:33 PM] ~Robin Blakely~: http://theblakestersmadness.com/ and http://xoomaweightlossparty.com/ .
This post is mainly for mothers and caregivers that have to work at home full-time and are also working or trying to work online as well. This is from experience too not just guessing.

Just to let you know I am really doing it. Let me tell you a little about what I do. I actually take care of children in my home and am a fulltime caregiver of my handicapped sister. She requires total care and does take up a lot of time. I am also a wife and a grandmother to 5 children and one on the way.

For all those who do not think that being a mom, wife, grandmother, sister, caregiver, and homemaker is not a full time job; you must have lost your minds.. The main difference in being these types of people and being one that goes out into the world to work is we do not get paid to do it, and our job lasts 24-7.

It is possible to combine working on-line with having your daily tasks of being a “homemaker or caregiver”. It has taken me a very long time to figure out just how to do it and I promise you I am still learning how to perfect it.

When you first start trying to work online while still maintaining your other duties you can really get extremely stressed. Working online does require alot more time than most of the recruiters try to make you believe that it does. You are always seeing “Make $1000.00 a week from home just working two to three hours per week” (Or whatever the amount may be). I am going to be very honest with you. It can be done, after you get everything in place.

Don’t be pulled into this thinking that when you first start it will just happen that way. First thing you need to do is find yourself a good mentor. I actually have more than one. You will definitely see many out there offering to teach you. There are many that are free and there are many that will charge you. Be careful of who you decide to follow though. Many want to teach you just to market their opportunity and will not show you the correct way of getting YOUR business where YOU need it to be headed.

As I said, I actually have more than one. Family Networker is a group of caring individuals that was created by two of my great mentors, Craig Caron and Nancy Radlinger. This group of people truly have become like Family to each other. Always there to help you when you need it, there to support you , there to critic your progress in a constructive way. I can honestly say this group of people care about each other and each others success. This is a place where you learn to be all that you can be in any area you choose to go.

I can honestly say if I had not been invited to this group, I would have quit this whole thing awhile back. Now that I have the teaching that I need to do things the correct way I am getting things done. Due to the fact that I am a “homemaker/caregiver” I do not have alot of free time to work on this as my main priority. I can gratefully say that this is the only group of people who have not downed me for not getting things done when they thought I should or when the rest of the group got it done. This Family incourages you to work at your own pace.

We all know that we have different ways of learning things. Some learn quickly and others learn more slowly, some try to learn too fast and get overwhelmed to the point of quitting. Family Networker wants you to learn the best way YOU can and they are willing to spend one-on-one with you if needed to help you complete your learning.

If you are looking to start working online and you are one of the mothers or caregivers I described above, I just want you to know that YOU CAN DO THIS. Don’t push it, don’t stress about it, enjoy it, take your time, do what you must do for you.It is not easy and there are people out there that truly want to help you. I do.

You may think to yourself, Tammie, you are going the wrong way. You may think I have really lost my mind. To be quite honest with you, I think that everyday.Seriously though, there are times when I have to take a step back to be able to begin to move forward again in the right direction.

Let me get a little deeper into this before you really declare I have lost all my senses. This journey in Network Marketing is like a road with lots of curves, side roads, dead ends, hills, valleys, bridges, pot holes…..you get the idea.

Well. when I lived in the country I ususally knew everthing about each and every road there was around me. Just like when you work at a J.O.B. You usually know what your tasks are for the day because they are usually exactly the same for each and every day.

Now that I am living in the city it is a huge difference. Just like with this Network Marketing. There are so many roads to go down and so many different ways to get to the destination you are heading for. Shortcuts, detours, side roads, etc., etc.

With so many roads and so many ways to get to the destination I am headed for it gets to be overwhelming at times and when I start feeling like I am staying lost or just not sure I am on the right roads, I have to take a few steps back and make myself aware of where I am. Make sure I took the right road or went the right way when I came to the fork in the road.

Too many of us are in such a big hurry to get to the destination that we do not pay attention to the road signs or the condition of the roads anymore and think that we can just ask anyone how to get there and surely they will know the right way or the shortest way to get there. Well, I promise you, the shortest way is not always the best way nor is asking just anyone how to get there the best way of finding out how to get to where you want to go.

There are many people out here in this marketing world that will tell you to take their route to get to destination. Instead of just following anybodys directions make sure they know how to get there. Find out if they have been to those forks in the road and went the right way or if they are still on their way there and just need you to follow so they won’t be on the road by themselves. Find someone that is there and knows exactly how they got there.

Take your time. If you get into a hurry you are sure to damage your vehicle. Your vehicle is yourself, your image, your reputation, your durability. If you keep turning down the wrong roads or taking the wrong turns you won’t get there before you start to damage yourself and you keep hitting the potholes and deadends and having to get repairs again and again. Then finally after your vehicle is all beat up you are just ready to give up on taking in trips so you quit.

It is okay to take a few steps back to get a view of the whole map and plan every now and then. Make sure you are on the right road and make sure your vehicle (you) are in good condition. Get your rest, make sure you are healthy, make sure you get some pleasure time in there. Keep yourself maintained. Then you will be ready to tackle each day and each task with in that day and not be stalling out all the time.

I, myself, have found some great mentors and friends in my journey through this Network marketing trip. Take a look around this site and you will see. I don’t have just one, but I also do not have ones that contradict each other either. I cannot express enough the importance of choosing a great, qualified “mechanic” (mentor and coach) to keep your vehicle (you) tuned up and ready for each trip.

I know, you are probably wondering, what in the world is she doing? INTERNET MARKETING is not a romance. I promise you, I agree. I am not crazy though. Well, not about this anyway.

Since I started in this amazing venture with Internet Marketing, I have tried many different things that looked so good and I sure thought they would “Make good money”.

I can’t say that they wouldn’t for someone who had it in their heart to make it work or not. I have learned though, that most of them were not in my heart, or I should say my heart wasn’t into them.

Through my experience, which is growing each and everyday, I have learned that if my heart is not in it I will not do what it is that I need to do to make it work. If I cannot enjoy what I am doing then I might as well go back to working a 9-5 JOB that I go to everyday just to make a living.

You must have it in your heart to do what you want to do, successfully. You can do anything you set your mind to do. However to be able to enjoy what you are doing and to fully strive to do it you must have a love for it or at least like what you are doing.

I love babies. I have always loved babies. Most people cannot understand why or how I can “handle” five or six in my house at one time and me still work on the computer or do anything else. Many cannot see how I keep my sanity. It is so easy when it is in my heart to do it.

I love people. I love to help people. To learn how to come out of bondage into freedom is something that is in my heart to do to be able to help others to do for themselves. This is what is in my heart to do. This is something I will strive to do.

There are so many different fields you can go into when you decide to start Internet Marketing. One of the first things you should learn to do is to choose a niche. When you are making this decision you should definitley choose one that your heart is into. Something that you know you will enjoy. If you enjoy it then you can excel into success with the correct teaching and tools very quickly.

Do a little research. Find something you know you will enjoy doing, find you a good mentor, be picky. This is your business. Learn from the best what you love to do to the best of your ability. Then, you can learn how to market what you love. Market what is in your heart. Enjoy becoming successful. Have fun being serious about your success. Do what you HAVE IN YOUR HEART to do.

For many years I have done the whole “setting my New Years Resolutions”, and for many years I haved failed to meet my “New Years Resolutions”. I never could figure out why I failed to meet them. Well, this year I read a post of a dear friend and it just seemed to help me to see why.

The problem I have had is not having a plan, a schedule, and the attitude of triumph to meet a goal. I didn’t have a problem setting goals or truly wanting to meet those goals. My problem was not planning how to meet those goals.Going in circles trying to, and finally just quitting. Then I was introduced to a group of people that taught me the correct way of doing things.

My journey with Family Networker not only has helped me to get on the right track for succeeding with my business, but has truly helped me to get on the right track for setting my goals in my everyday life. Planning my happiness and managing my time and my priorities so that I CAN meet the goals I have set for myself. This group of people have become my internet “Family”. They care about me and I care about them.

Just seeing my “Family” here on the internet succeed and grow has been so inspirational. Seeing people blossom right before my eyes. Watching success happen over and over knowing that they were in the exact same place I was. Realizing that I could truly make it too.

One of the most important things I think I have learned is that I truly need to set goals. Without goals you are heading for somewhere that is just not there. You might think you know what it is you want but if you don’t set goals then you won’t know how to get what it is you want.

Sound like going in circles? It really is. If you do not have a goal to get to, then you will just keep going in circles trying to get there and more than likely get tired of not getting there and wind up giving up and quitting. Make sure when you do set your goals you set reasonable goals that you will be sure to make not impossible goals that you won’t make in a short period of time so that you do not get discouraged before you reach those goals.

Making a plan and sticking to that plan is exactly what is going to take place this year for me. 2010 was a great learning year for me and 2011 will be the year to put all the lessons into action. I read a great blog today that suggest writing things down to make them tangible. This is a fabulous idea.

Once I have the plan written out then I can make a daily schedule that I will stick by and do what a friend has told me to do; STICK TO IT! Then when I feel overwhelmed by all the things I know I need to do and there is absolutely not enough time in a day to do half of them; all I have to do is look at the end of the day to see if I kept to my schedule and completed the tasks that were already there for me to do.

Just to know that I accomplished what I was supposed to do for that day wil be the beginning of building a great business that will be sure to succeed. I will be going into detail with some techniques of making schedules, sticking to them, adding to them, etc. etc. with my new ebook that I am currently getting ready to share with everyone.

So, let’s get busy and set your goals and make a plan and make your dreams come true.DON’T EVER GIVE UP!!!!! Make sure your goals are set so that you Will be able to meet them. Let’s get Rocking in 2011.

Don’t forget there will be many tips here to help us all stay on the right track…

When you first started looking into online marketing, I am sure you saw, over and over, that you were going to have more time to be with your family and so much free time to do the things you wanted to do.This can become a reality but, you should be totally aware that successful online marketing requires time.

For you to reach that freedom you are so looking forward to, you will have to work for it and invest lots of time in the beginning. It is like everything else that life throws at you. You have to learn how to do it before you are successful at it.

You really need to know what it is that you do want to do.Do you want to be your own boss? Do you want to set your own hours? Do you want to be in control? I can promise you that if you desire to be successful in online marketing and have all of these things, it is going to require time. Don’t let anyone tell you that it isn’t.

The first thing you will need is time to plan. I am not talking about just the few seconds it takes for you to say “I am going to do Online Marketing” either.
You should actually take out the time to research to see if this is something you would even like doing.

YOu need to decide how much time you are willing to or are able to invest in your choice of online marketing. Especially in the beginning, it is going to require as much time as possible for you to get your business set up and going.

There are so many avenues in online marketing that can be taken and just as many ways to market your buisness, if not more. You will need to take the time to decide which is best for you and which way is more productive for you as well.

Many people believe they can just come in, as they were told, and do this type of work with no investment in time at all. That is one of the biggest reasons for the failure that so often happens.

If you think about it just a little bit though, you will understand that this is a business. Your business. You are having to advertise it, work it, sell it, all the things that are behind the sceens of a J.O.B. that you would go to and just do what you were hired to do.

The benefits of having an online business of your own totally out weigh the benefits of having a plain ole J.O.B. I am posting this just to let you know that the more you are willing to put into “Your” business, the more you will get out of it.I just want you to know before you come into it the time that it will require so that you will not be one of the ones that fail.

You need to do research on the things that you are interested in doing. You should know about your business and how things work. You are the owner, the boss, the one people are going to look to for answers. You will be the one that leads others into succeeding with their businesses.

You will need to know how to market your business. How to build relationships with others that will go on to trust you and rely on your research for the products or services that you have to offer. They need to know who you are and what you stand for. This also takes time. I am sure you don’t just trust anyone who tells you anything.

It may not take some as long as it does others to process all the things that have to be put in place and I promise you that the more time that passes, the more knowledgeable you will become in anything that you set out to do.I sincerely do not want anyone to get discouraged or give up because they don’t think it is happening as fast as it should. I feel that if you are willing to invest into anything you decide to do, the most important thing that you can invest is your time.

Remember, everything in this world is part of a learning process. It takes time for you to learn how to crawl, then you learn how to walk, then run. The same applies with anything in life. It takes time. Don’t ever give up.
If you are interested in starting your own business and you are willing to do what it takes to make it successful, then believe me when I tell you it is possible. I didn’t think so until I found Family Networker. A great group of people that work together to help each other succeed. Founded by Craig Caron and Nancy Radlinger. Check it out a www.familynetworker.com You will be happy you did.
